Charles S. “Chuck” Connor, 73, of Canton, passed away peacefully at home with family on June 8, 2026. Born on July 31, 1952, in Canton, Chuck was a lifelong resident of the town he loved and proudly called home throughout his life.

Chuck was the son of the late Charles “Charlie” Connor and Pauline M. (Callahan) Connor. He is survived by his beloved wife, Paula Connor; his sons, Douglas Connor and his wife, Erin Connor, of Canton, and Jonathan Connor and his husband, Richard Dahill Jr., of South Boston. He was the cherished grandfather of Addison, Brynn, Brooke, and Charleigh, who brought immeasurable joy to his life.

He is also survived by his siblings, Nancy Gowe, Debra Brennan, Richard Connor, Patricia Connor, James Connor, Mary Cavallaro, and Scott Connor. He was predeceased by his sister, Paula Jean Connor. Chuck also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will remember him with great affection.

Chuck met the love of his life, Paula, while attending Canton High School, and together they built a remarkable life centered on love, family, friendship, and unwavering devotion. Their marriage was a true partnership, one built on mutual respect, laughter, and a deep friendship that endured through every chapter of life. To all who knew them, Chuck and Paula shared a love that was inspiring, a bond that stood as an example of commitment, loyalty, and genuine companionship.

A graduate of Canton High School, Chuck went on to build a successful career through hard work and determination. As the proud owner of Cut-All Tools Inc., he earned the respect of customers, colleagues, and friends through his honesty, dedication, and strong work ethic. He took great pride in providing for his family and serving those who relied on him.

Chuck was deeply connected to the Canton community and enjoyed being a member of the Canton Town Club, where he participated in the golf league at Wampatuck and formed many lasting friendships. Chuck found great happiness on the water and loved everything about the ocean. Whether he was boating, fishing, or simply enjoying a day by the sea, those moments brought him peace and joy. He had a passion for cars and motorcycles and enjoyed family vacations, as well as spending time caring for his homes and yards in Canton and Provincetown.

While Chuck enjoyed many hobbies and interests, nothing meant more to him than his family. His greatest joy was being “Papa” to Addison, Brynn, Brooke, and Charleigh. He treasured every moment spent with his grandchildren and never missed an opportunity to be with them. Whether cheering from the sidelines, attending games and events, or simply sharing everyday moments together, Chuck loved watching his grandchildren play sports and took tremendous pride in all they did. Being part of their lives brought him endless happiness, and the memories they created together were among his most cherished.

Chuck will also be remembered for his generous heart, selfless nature, and willingness to help anyone he loved, often before they even had to ask. He had a special way of slowing life down and reminding those around him what truly mattered. He found joy in the simplest of moments, a conversation on the porch, a day on the water, a good meal with family, or simply being in the company of the people he loved. He made everyone feel welcome, comfortable, and at home. His presence made family gatherings, holidays, and everyday moments brighter, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.

Above all, Chuck was a man of honor and integrity. He took pride in doing things the right way, no matter how long it took. He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud Papa, caring brother, and loyal friend. He leaves behind a legacy of love, patience, family, and friendship. Though he will be dearly missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him and in the countless lives he touched throughout his 73 years.

Chuck’s family will commemorate his life privately, sharing memories and celebrating the love, laughter, and joy he brought to those around him.
