Thurber, Catherine M.

Catherine M. Thurber (Kenney), 97, of Canton, passed away December 26 at the Marian Manor Nursing Home in Boston.

Born in Boston, she was raised in Everett and graduated from Everett High School. She has lived in Canton for 58 years where she worked as a baker in the Canton High School cafeteria for over 15 years. She was a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church and a member of the Canton Catholic Women’s Club.

Beloved wife of the late Lester E. Mother of Catherine M. Watson and Mary E. Kendall. Grandmother of Rayna Kendall. Sister of Helen Doucette.

A funeral mass was held Tuesday, December 31, at 10:30 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church. Burial Glenwood Cemetery, Everett. Arrangements by the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street.
