Bernard A. Stripinis, 84, of Canton, passed away suddenly November 28.

Born and raised in Stoughton, he graduated from Stoughton High School and served in the U.S. Navy Reserves. He worked as a machine shop supervisor for Ark-Les Corp. in Stoughton for many years before retiring. He was an active member of the Canton Council on Aging where he enjoyed spending time and organizing day trips. He was also an avid golfer and enjoyed shooting pool.

Beloved husband of the late Martha E. (Milligan). Father of Susan McIntosh and her husband, James, of Methuen, Mary E. Stripinis of Lincoln, and Theresa A. Crosby and her husband, Dana, of Littleton. Grandfather of Sara DiPerri of NH and William, Emily and Ashley Crosby, all of Littleton. Great-grandfather of Kenneth and Cassius. Brother of Albina Timperi of Stoughton.

A funeral mass was held Tuesday in St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations may be made in his memory to the Canton Council on Aging, 500 Pleasant St., Canton, MA 02021. Arrangements by the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street.
