Mary V. Greeley (Stronjy), of Canton, passed away January 27 surrounded by her loving family.

Born and raised in Taunton, she graduated from Taunton High School. She previously lived in Hyde Park and has lived in Canton for the last 40 years. She worked for the Boston Public Schools as a quality control manager in the Food Preparation Department. Mary was very civic minded and volunteered for several children’s organizations and animal shelters. She loved crafts, knitting and sewing.

Beloved wife of the late Frederick A. Mother of June-Ann Greeley and her husband, John Blossom, of Guilford, CT. Grandmother of Christopher Frederick Blossom of Guilford, CT. Sister of the late Raymond Stronjy, Julian Stronjy, and Frances Skinner.

Funeral mass Saturday, February 3, at 11 a.m. in St. Gerard Majella Church in Canton. Visiting hours prior to the mass from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street. Burial Canton Corner Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Old Colony Hospice, 321 Manley St., West Bridgewater, MA 02379, or to the Canton Veterans Services Department, 801 Washington St., Canton, MA 02021.
