By Canton CitizenRobert “Jim” Brown, 73, a fourth-generation resident of Canton, died peacefully at home on September 24, 2017, after bravely battling cancer.
Jim worked as a manager for Verizon for many years until retiring in 2003. Devoted husband of Lisa M. Brown (Duggan) of Canton. Loving father of Robert J. Brown of Fort Thomas, KY, and Timothy C. Brown of Canton.
Visiting hours in the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street, on Friday from 4-7 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton on Saturday, September 30, at 10:30 a.m. If desired, donations may be made in Jim’s memory to AMEGO Inc. — the wonderful agency that services Jim’s son Timothy — at 33 Perry Ave., Attleboro, MA 02703.
