John L. “Jack” Sullivan, Jr., 63, of Canton, formerly a longtime resident of Milton, passed away on August 31, 2017, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Jack worked hard and was employed by Amtrak for the last 23 years. But he didn’t live to work; he worked so he could enjoy his passions — traveling, the beach, and of course, his beloved New York Giants and the Red Sox. One of his favorite places to relax was Orient Beach in St. Martin, and he would also head to Duxbury Beach whenever the sun was shining. He also enjoyed spending times with his many friends. He had a kind heart, a generous soul, a great laugh, a twinkle in his eye, and was someone you could always count on to show up, and of course, he dressed for the occasion.
