Lamb, George E.

George E. Lamb, Sr., 90, of Canton, passed away September 3 at Norwood Hospital.

Born in Cambridge, he was raised in Dorchester and graduated from High School of Commerce. He graduated from Stratford Business School in Boston, attended Suffolk University, and served in the Navy during World War II. He worked as a quality control supervisor for Raytheon Corporation for 38 years before retiring. He has lived in Canton for the last 20 years and previously lived in Roslindale for over 40 years. He was a devoted family man and enjoyed square dancing at Scrambled Eights in Walpole and summering on White Horse Beach in Plymouth …
