John “Jack” Kenneth White, Jr., 57, of Ocala, FL, formerly of Plainville, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was the beloved husband of Catherine Jane (DeLuca) White for 37 years.

Born on March 1, 1960, he was the son of Maureen (Sullivan) White and the late John Kenneth White, Sr. of Canton.

A graduate of Canton High School, Class of 1978, Jack continued his education at the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy and the Memorial Hospital Paramedic Program. He also attended Bristol Community College and Providence College Fire Service programs.

Jack proudly served the community as a fire captain with the North Attleboro Fire Department from 1986 until his retirement in 2016. He previously served with pride as a firefighter for the town of Plainville from 1986 until 1989. He was also a call firefighter with the Canton Fire Department from 1978 to 1984 …
