Saulle, Elizabeth H.

Elizabeth H. Saulle (Bartha), 98, of Canton, formerly of Mansfield, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family November 26 at Cornerstone at Canton.

Born and raised in Wallingford, Connecticut, she graduated from New York School of Decorating and Design and worked for many years as an interior designer with clients from New York City to the Hamptons and was the resident interior designer for Sweezy’s Department Store in Patchogue, NY. During the 70s she and her husband, Sal, owned and operated the Long Island McArthur Airport Gift Shop. Elizabeth did extensive volunteer work beginning with the American Red Cross as a “Grey Lady” during World War II and later organizing fundraisings for Brookhaven Memorial Hospital and Girl Scouts of America …
