Elvis fan wants stolen flag back

We have lived in Canton for about 10 years now. I feel that this is a safe town and a nice place to live. I know it is not perfect, but I have never felt insecure in Canton.

I have always had an Elvis flag on a pole attached to the outside of my home on Neponset Street. Yes, I am a big Elvis fan! I have different flags for different holidays and in between there is a welcome flag. I just replaced this welcome flag about a month ago as the original one was fading. These flags are not cheap. Well, last week, someone decided to steal my Elvis flag and even the flag pole itself.

I am angry and furious that anyone could be so low as to do such a thing. I did not report it to the police as they have more important things to do than to try to find my flag. However, this is personal to me and whoever you are, I really would like my flag back!

I cannot really afford to replace it again, and besides, if I do, will you come by and steal it again? Do I have to give up what little pleasure this gives to me because you think it is funny to steal it away? You cannot be an Elvis fan because we do not steal from one another.

Please, if you have not destroyed it, can you just return it to my home? Keep the pole if you need it, but bring back the flag please. I do not want to get anyone in trouble, so no questions asked, just return my property please.
