Hansen Has a Heart

Student Council members at the Lt. Peter M. Hansen Elementary School in Canton recently held a “Hansen Has a Heart” community fundraiser for pediatric patients at Norwood Hospital. The Student Council sold paper “hearts” for $1 each and raised over $500. Sixteen of the fourth and fifth grade Student Council members, along with Hansen Principal Peter Boucher and Student Council parent advisors, came to Norwood Hospital on Friday, February 14, with a donation of over 75 toys, books and games. Norwood Hospital President Emily Holliman and Chief of Pediatrics Bruce Weinstock, MD, as well as clinicians from the pediatric units were on hand to receive the donation.
