Girl Scouts Trashion Show

By

Canton Girl Scouts hosted a Trashion Show event on Sunday, January 13, in the St. John’s gymnasium. The scouts made belts, bracelets, magnets and much more out of recycled materials/household items. They also donated t-shirts to be sewn into hats to be shipped to Haiti for newborns. A display table of items showcased the many things made out of recycled materials, such as accessories, toys, and clothing. The hosting Girl Scout troop (73403) modeled the clothing and accessories and strutted down the runway as fellow scouts cheered them on. It was a successful event that everyone was able to enjoy.
