CHS Alumni Assoc. working on new directory

Our alumni change emails, jobs, and locations, often making it hard to keep up with them. We have contracted with Harris Connect to update contact information for our alumni so that they can keep up to date on news, activities, and events. Harris will also help produce a beautiful hardcover publication, Canton High School Alumni Directory 2012, which will allow you to reconnect with old friends as well as network professionally. A softbound or CD version of the book will also be available.

Harris specializes in alumni and membership solutions and the data specifications involved with this type of project. Alumni will be contacted by email and/or by phone over the next few months to verify and update your contact and career information. Who is Harris Connect?

We’ve partnered with Harris Connect to produce our directory. Harris Connect has been an industry leader for nearly 50 years and we are confident that this publication will meet the needs of our alumni.

What happens if I don’t order a directory now, but change my mind later?

We have arranged to print as many directories as are ordered before we go to press. Therefore, if you change your mind prior to the publication being printed, you may call the dedicated toll-free number (1-800-510-8701) by September 24 to place a directory order.

What kind of computer do I need to use the CD?

The CD will work on most PC and Mac computers.

Is my information protected?

Yes, all personal information contained on the CD is encrypted and can only be viewed inside the Search Party application. The encryption has never been compromised. The CDs are designed so that no one can download the data from the CD en masse. You may only view one alumnus’s information at a time.

As in the past, all information contained in our directories is protected by copyright laws. The directory is for official school and alumni association use, and also for individual communication of a personal nature between members listed in the directory.
