National Charity League Blue Hills Chapter recognizes Class of 2025
By Canton CitizenThe National Charity League’s Blue Hills Chapter would like to proudly recognize the Class of 2025.
Amy and Ava Berardi: Amy has served the chapter as a grade level advisor. Ava will graduate from CHS and is attending the University of Delaware, where she plans to pursue a degree in cognitive science.
Norine and Maeve Fetter: Norine has served on the Tea Committee and has helped plan Father-Daughter activities. Maeve will graduate from Ursuline Academy in Dedham and is attending Villanova University in the fall to study nursing.
Erin and Anna Gianni: Erin has served as grade level advisor and as a liaison to Cradles to Crayons. Anna will graduate from Oliver Ames and will attend St. Michael’s College in the fall to study finance.
Kelly and Chloe Guerschuny: Kelly has served as a grade level advisor and as the liaison to Panera Bread. Chloe will graduate from CHS and is attending Quinnipiac University in the fall to study sports management.
Robin and Maegan Horrigan: Robin has served as a liaison to several philanthropies, including Norwood and Milton Hospital as well as Operation Gratitude; as a grade level advisor; as vice president of membership, and as chapter president. Maegan will graduate from CHS and is attending Dartmouth College in the fall to study engineering sciences.
Karole Rose and Liliana Kerr: Karole has served on the Holiday Wrapping Committee. Liliana will graduate from Oliver Ames and will be attending the University of Pittsburgh in the fall.
Melissa and Abigail Kirk: Melissa has served as vice president of Ticktockers and as liaison to Pappas Rehabilitation Hospital and the Canton Helpline. Abigail will graduate from Ursuline Academy in Dedham and is attending Fairfield University in the fall to study nursing.
Meghan and Maeve Little: Meghan has served as a liaison to School on Wheels of Massachusetts. Maeve will graduate from Notre Dame Academy in Hingham and will be attending Xavier University in the fall.
Rebecca Healey and Sophie Mak: Rebecca has been in the chapter for many years and her older daughter graduated in 2020. She has served as a grade level advisor, as vice president of Ticktockers, and as liaison to the Canton Food Pantry. Sophie Mak will graduate from CHS and is attending Middlebury College in the fall.
Lisa and Alyssa Nordgren: Lisa has served as vice president of communications, webmaster, and as liaison to Christmas in the City, the Department of Elder & Human Services, and the Pan Mass Challenge. Alyssa will graduate from CHS and will be attending Syracuse University, where she plans to study biomedical engineering.
Jill and Samantha Nuss: Jill has served as vice president of engagement and inclusion and liaison to the South Shore Foster Closet. Samantha will graduate from Oliver Ames and will attend the University of West Virginia to study marketing.
In its 23rd year, NCL Blue Hills has served over 1,850 philanthropy hours and over 1,700 leadership hours. This year, National Charity League celebrated its 100th anniversary. As a multi-generational philanthropic organization of mothers and daughters, NCL donates close to three million hours annually to over 6,000 charities in the United States. They practice philanthropy, the active effort to promote human welfare.
NCL programs empower women to succeed as confident, well-rounded contributors to society while making a positive impact in the communities they serve.
