Dominic Marinilli on the winner’s podium after his recent victory

Ten-year-old Canton wrestler Dominic Marinilli won the championship in the 65-pound weight class at the Pop & Flo Mini Men Nationals, held April 29 at Union College in Schenectady, New York. Marinilli also took second place in the fourth grade division at the Youth New England Tournament held in Salem in March. He trains at both The Dungeon Training Center in Hanover and CBC Wrestling Club in Raynham. Dominic is following in the footsteps of his older brother Eddie, who had a record-breaking season as a freshman at Canton High School. Dominic’s goal is to have a better record than his brother when he reaches high school.
