Cheersport National Champs

On February 19 and 20, Sparks All Stars of Avon participated in the nation’s largest cheerleading competition, Cheersport, in Atlanta, Georgia. Three girls from Canton — Jenna Hamrock, Kelsey Callahan, and Kristina Picarski — took home the national championship award, scoring the highest in the country in their youth division. Over 900 teams from all over the country and beyond participated in the annual competition, including teams from Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada. The girls and their team will now move on to the International All-Level Championship on April 17 in Worcester.
