Mary was a retired cafeteria worker for the Canton Public Schools. She also worked for F.M. Global in Norwood for several years until retiring in 1993. Mary enjoyed knitting, needlework, and traveling.
Devoted wife of the late Robert O. Pineo Jr. Loving mother of Robert E. Pineo of Cotuit, Patricia E. Perry and her husband, Robert, of West Bridgewater, and Thomas J. Pineo and his wife, Carol, of Canton. Loving sister of Patricia Corkery CSJ, Holy Name Convent in West Roxbury, Helen M. Corkery of Canton, and Brendan Corkery, Maryknoll Missioners. Proud grandmother of Travis Perry, Matthew Pineo, Katherine Pineo, and Luke Pineo.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Wednesday morning, June 6, in St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton. Interment Rock Ridge Cemetery, Sharon. If desired, donations may be made to Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston, 637 Cambridge St., Brighton, MA 02135. Arrangements by the Roache-Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street.
