Paul F. Daly, 81, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2026, at his home in Canton. Born on March 10, 1944, in Norwood, he was the cherished son of the late William and Mary Daly.

He is survived by his devoted brother, William Daly of Fletcher, NC, and his caring brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Catherine Daly of Pembroke. Paul was a beloved uncle to his nieces and nephews, Christopher Daly, Michael Daly, Sharon Daly, Sean Daly and his wife, Jennifer, and James Daly and his wife, Katy, who will fondly remember their uncle’s gentle demeanor. Paul is also survived by his great nieces Skylar and Alyssa of Worcester and great-nephew Ferris of St. Louis, MO.

A lifelong resident of Massachusetts, Paul’s passion was following all Boston sports teams and Duke basketball. He also enjoyed listening to oldies music.

Paul was a longtime resident of Lifeworks in Canton, and his family is extremely grateful for the way the staff nurtured and cared for him all the years he lived there.

As we bid farewell to Paul, we celebrate his gentle spirit. Rest in peace, Paul; your life was a testament to the beauty of a life well lived.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service held at Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street, on Thursday, January 29 (today) at 12 p.m. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Canton.
