Bradley, Catherine E.
By Canton CitizenCatherine Eileen (Collins) Bradley of Canton passed away peacefully December 14, 2025, with her sons by her side.
Born February 5, 1925, at 18 Bellflower Street in Boston to Timothy Jeremiah Collins and Catherine Mary (Costello) Collins, she was brought up in Dorchester, where she went by the name “Kitty.” She graduated from St. Peter’s grammar school, then graduated from the Jeremiah Burke High School in Roxbury. After graduating from high school, she worked for 10 years at Liberty Mutual Insurance until having her first child in 1954. She returned to work at Shawmut Bank in 1972 until retiring from Bank of America in 1996.
Kitty was the beloved wife of Francis Mary Bradley for 28 years. She was the loving mother of Francis Bradley, Kevin Gerard Bradley, and Caroline Marie Brodeur and her husband, Michael, of South Carolina. Dear grandmother of Timothy Michael Brodeur and his wife, Tessa, Megan Elizabeth Brodeur, Kathleen Elizabeth Nikouary and her husband, Alex, and Patrick Michael Brodeur. Sister of Margaret Mazza and her husband, Nicholas, Josephine Frances Collins, Helen Veronica Mulrey and her husband, Robert, and Dorothy Mary Keefe and her husband, Harold. Proud great-grandmother of Oliver, Ellie and Cooper Brodeur and Bruce Nikoukary.
Visiting hours in the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street, on Friday, January 16, from 5-7 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 17, at 10 a.m. in St. Oscar Romero Catholic Church, 700 Washington Street in Canton. Interment Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
