Small, William C.

The family of William C. Small sadly announces his passing on November 22.

Born on September 1, 1963, in Dorchester, Bill was the son of the late Rosalie A. (White) Small and Robert J. Small. Raised in Canton, Bill graduated from Canton High School in 1981 and moved to Lakeville shortly thereafter. He enjoyed saltwater fishing with his friends as well as off-roading, and then repairing, his 1972 Chevy Blazer. He was an avid sports fan.

Mr. Small leaves his siblings Rose Bernard of New London, NH, and her former husband, Lawrence, of Canton, Steven T. Small and his wife, Elyse, of Land of Lakes, FL, and Sarah C. Titus and her husband, Gary, of Canton. He leaves three stepsiblings: Michael J. Canale and his wife, Allison, of Belgrade Lakes, ME, Brian E. Canale and his wife, Theresa, of Marlboro, and Nancy C. Patterson of Duxbury. He also leaves six nieces and nephews, Casey Bernard, Shannon Bernard, Louis Titus and his fiancée, Geralyn Comer, Caroline Titus, Benjamin Small, and Hannah Small, and one grandniece, Nora Titus.

In addition, he leaves his extended family at JANCO Sales & Service. Bill was passionate about his work as a technician and felt a strong responsibility in educating the next generation of maintenance professionals. His family is grateful to Ed and his crew for their exceptional support in the final months.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local hospice association.
