Arsenault, Toni J.

By

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Toni Jane Arsenault, 68, of Stoughton, who departed this life on July 15, 2025, at Boston Medical Center – South. After enduring months of complications from a stroke she suffered in November 2024, Toni’s spirit has found peace.

Toni is survived by her devoted daughters, Jesse Arsenault Campbell and her fiancé, Christian Beck, of Nashville, Tennessee, and Jacqueline Arsenault Campbell of Stoughton.

Born on June 28, 1957, in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of Donald Henry Arsenault and Marie Florence McLeod Arsenault (both deceased). At the age of 2, Toni moved to Canton, where she graduated from Canton High School in the Class of 1975. In 1997, she made Stoughton her home. Toni took great pride in being named after her Uncle Tony and her Aunt Jane, who were significant influences in her life.

Toni earned her associate’s degree from Mass Bay Community College while working full-time in the banking industry, ultimately becoming vice president of operations at Quincy Savings Bank and various credit unions until her retirement in 2020. Her strong work ethic, demonstrated through her dedication, inspired both her daughters.

Known for her gregarious nature and friendly disposition, Toni never met a stranger. Her family often joked that she would invite every lonely soul to our loud and loving holiday gatherings, always ready to set another place at the table. Despite the challenges that followed her injury, which impacted her speech, Toni found ways to connect with others, continuing to make friends and influence those around her. She was also the cherished keeper of our family history, meticulously tracing our mother’s lineage back to the Mayflower and recounting family names and relationships with enthusiasm to anyone willing to listen. Her love for children and dogs was evident to all who knew her.

In addition to her children, Toni is survived by her loving sisters, nieces, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and many friends who will miss her dearly.

A memorial service to honor Toni’s life will be held next year, and details will be shared as they become available.
