Crandell, Gregory

Gregory Crandell of Canton, 77, passed away on May 2, 2025, at Beth Israel Deaconess Needham Hospital.

Born in Boston to the late William and Marie (Penta) Crandell, Gregg spent all of his life in the Massachusetts area, maintaining ties to his roots.

He is survived by his wife, Anne Schertzer, and his children, Jeffrey, Marissa, Emily, and Matthew. He was predeceased by his brother Andrew Crandell and daughter, Stephanie Crandell. He also leaves behind extended family and friends.

Though the last few years were difficult ones for Gregg, he will be remembered for his strong work ethic through the lives of his children and those who knew him.

Gregory was known for his love of animals, and his family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a local animal shelter or MSPCA in his memory.

Private visiting hours will be held for close family and friends.
