SJS visits ropes course

St. John’s grade 8 students Nolan McCoy and Nathan Parillon on the high ropes course.

The Norfolk County Sheriff’s Office recently welcomed a group of students from St. John the Evangelist School in Canton to its Adventure Based Program at the NCSO Public Safety Campus in Braintree. The students tackled a variety of ropes challenges while focusing on goal-setting, team-building, communication, and problem solving. Tony McGaughey from the sheriff’s office also helped them overcome some of their initial hesitation before launching from the zip line. More information about the NCSO Adventure Based Program can be found at norfolksheriff.com/youthPrograms.
