Perez, Davy

Davy Perez, of Canton, died September 5, 2026. He was 70 years old.

Davy was a proud veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy. He previously worked as a correction officer in the Walpole House of Corrections/MCI-Cedar Junction and the Norfolk House of Corrections before becoming an officer in the Boston Police Department, where he served for over 34 years. He enjoyed photography, boating, firearms, and spending time with his family.

Davy was the son of the late Emiliano and Maria Perez. Devoted husband of Joann Perez (Borrero). Loving father of Emiliano Perez and his wife, Cynthia Lanyon-Perez, of Boston and Tiffany Perez of Canton. Loving brother of Luz Perez of NY, Harry Perez of CA, Sylvia Celaya of CA, Israel Perez of FL, and Irving Perez of FL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday (today) at 11 a.m. in Canton Corner Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Arrangements by the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street, www.roache-pushard.com.
