Metrano, Mary P.
By Canton CitizenMary P. Metrano (Ronayne), 79, of Foxboro, died peacefully September 5, 2026.
A lifelong Foxboro resident, Mary was a graduate of Foxboro High School and was a retired retail manager. She enjoyed antiquing, decorating, and as any person watching a New England sporting event with her could attest, believed herself to be a talent scout for the Red Sox and head coach of the New England Patriots.

She was the daughter of the late William and Eleanor (White) Ronayne. Widow of the late James R. Metrano. Loving mother of Bridget Metrano and her spouse, Donald Cargill, of Easton, Brendan Metrano and his spouse, Blair, of Coppell, TX, and Bernadette Metrano and her spouse, Maria Marotta, of Jamaica Plain. Sister of Joan O’Sullivan of Foxboro, Eleanor Ronayne of Amesbury, Patricia Morrison of SC, and the late William Ronayne Jr. Proud grandmother of Sydney, Wyatt and Myles Metrano. Aunt to her beloved nieces and nephews.
