Code Ninjas Canton celebrates 7-year anniversary

By

Code Ninjas Canton recently celebrated its seven-year anniversary with a community-wide Discovery Day event that gave local families an exciting firsthand look into the world of coding, robotics, artificial intelligence, and STEM education for kids.

Throughout the event, students participated in hands-on technology experiences designed to make learning interactive, creative, and fun. Children explored coding challenges, robotics activities, AI-powered projects, virtual reality experiences, and game development while working alongside Code Ninjas’ experienced Senseis.

Discovery Day also highlighted Code Ninjas Canton’s expanded year-round Flex program, which includes specialized learning experiences in LEGO Robotics, AI Academy, and VR. These programs are designed to give students additional opportunities to build engineering, coding, collaboration, and problem-solving skills through structured, project-based learning.

In addition to year-round programs, families were able to preview the center’s upcoming Summer Camps, featuring experiences such as Minecraft Modding, Roblox Game Development, Codebreaking, Scratch Coding, robotics challenges, and additional STEM-focused activities designed to keep students learning and creating throughout the summer.

“Technology is becoming a part of every industry and every career path,” said Pallavi Jain, center director of Code Ninjas Canton. “Our goal is to help students build confidence with technology at an early age while making learning exciting and engaging. Discovery Day gave families the opportunity to experience that firsthand.”

A major highlight of the event included a visit from Deep Tech, a local FIRST Robotics team, which showcased its competition robot and spoke with students about robotics engineering, teamwork, innovation, and STEM opportunities available within the local community.

For the past seven years, Code Ninjas Canton has provided coding and STEM education to students across the region through after-school programs, camps, and enrichment experiences tailored specifically for kids ages 5-14. The center’s curriculum focuses on building not only coding knowledge, but also creativity, logic, communication, and critical-thinking skills in a supportive and engaging environment.
