By Canton CitizenJeanne R. (Kennedy) Taylor, 92, of Falmouth, formerly of Canton, died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, March 1, 2026, in New Canaan, CT.
Jeanne was predeceased by her husband, Paul E. Taylor, to whom she was married for 50 years. Born in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Ruth Nevins and Joseph Kennedy.
Before marrying Paul, Jeanne worked with the American Cancer Society. She was a graduate of Green Mountain College; later, as a young mother, she returned to school, graduating from Curry College with a degree in special education. Jeanne and Paul lived a life of love and commitment, and their greatest joy was raising their four children.
Jeanne leaves two sons, Joseph K. Taylor of Falmouth and John F. Taylor of New Canaan, CT, and one daughter, Kendra Taylor Callahan of Highland Park, IL, as well as six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Jeanne was predeceased by her beloved oldest son, Paul, Jr.
Jeanne will be laid to rest at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. Services are private.
