Skating Club of Boston presents Ice Chips 2026: A World Journey
By Canton CitizenThe Skating Club of Boston, New England’s premier center for figure skating located in Norwood, is hosting their annual benefit ice show, Ice Chips, on February 28 and March 1 with headliner, Olympic gold medalist and World Champion Alysa Liu.
Liu is a favorite to win individual gold (the U.S. won team gold on February 8) at the 2026 Winter Games and this will be her first appearance in the United States after the games conclude.
Ice Chips 2026: A World Journey will be performed for three shows on Saturday, February 28, at 1 and 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 1, at 1 p.m. at the Tenley E. Albright Performance Center at The Skating Club of Boston in Norwood.
Liu is the current World Champion, the recent 2025 Skate America Champion, and a two-time national champion, winning her first at the age of 13, making her the youngest skater to win the title.
Ice Chips 2026: A World Journey will also showcase a cast of local, national and international competitors, including Canton residents Alexandra Hood, 28-year-old Olympian Spencer Howe and 16-year-old Zachary LoPinto. Spencer and his partner Emily Chan are the 2026 U.S. pewter medalists.
Other senior performers will include Olympian and 2026 U.S. bronze medalist Max Naumov; Olympian and 2026 European silver medalist Aleksandr Selevko; two-time U.S. pairs champions Alisa Efimova and Misha Mitrofanov; and 2025 Four Continents bronze medalist Jimmy Ma. Other performers include the 31-time U.S. Synchronized Skating Champions Haydenettes and 2026 U.S. junior pairs silver medalists Sofia Jarmoc and Luke Witkowski.
