Susan worked as a teacher for the Reading, Stoneham, and Woburn public schools. She enjoyed teaching, gardening, and helping others.
Daughter of the late Edwin and Deborah Richardson. Loving mother of Wade R. Sanders of Florida, Chad K. Sanders of Arizona, and Rhett L. Sanders and his partner, Joanne O’Connell, of Brockton. Loving sister of Ann Koski of Southampton. She is the proud grandmother of three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Former wife of the late Kenneth A. Sanders.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 8, in the chapel at the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street. Interment private. Donations may be made in Susan’s memory to the Parkinson’s Foundation at parkinson.org.
