Fleming, Denise M.

By

Denise Marie Fleming, beloved mother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on October 29, 1960, Denise was preceded in death by her parents, Donna and Don Fleming of Ralston, Nebraska.

She is survived by her cherished daughter, Lili Fleming, and her three loving brothers, Curt (Kim), Craig (Jane), and Kent (Ann) Fleming. Denise also leaves behind her beloved nieces and nephews, Grant (Courtney), Todd (Melissa), Bailee, Paige, Connor and Teagan, and great-nieces Claire and Brooke as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and a wide network of dear friends who will forever remember her warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit.

After attending Northwestern University, Denise received master’s degrees from Boston University in education and from Lesley University in counseling psychology. She dedicated her life to education and counseling. She was a committed educator and counselor who was deeply valued and respected for the positive impact she made in every position she held.

Denise was devoted to her family and friends, and her love and loyalty were unquestionable. Her love for Lili was inspiring, and her affection for her beloved Bichon, Milo, came close — but not quite.

She loved to stay active throughout her life — playing tennis, swimming, and later discovering a passion for pickleball as she neared retirement. Competition is a hallmark of the Fleming family, and Denise cherished lively games of cards and other family contests that always brought laughter and joy.

Denise will be remembered for her love of life, loyalty, compassion, commitment to relationships, independence, and the consistency of the values she showed in everything she did. She had a special ability to connect with all people, especially youth and children. She will be deeply missed by all who had the blessing of knowing her.

Her love, laughter, and legacy of care will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Visiting hours in the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street, on Friday, January 9. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Christ Congregational Church, 1350 Pleasant Street in Brockton. Interment will be private.
