The Canton Association of Business and Industry (CABI) kicked off the holiday season with an unforgettable celebration at Blue Hill Country Club last week. The event brought together local business leaders, community partners, and supporters for an evening filled with conversation, camaraderie, and festive spirit. CABI presented its Business of the Year Award to Bank of Canton, recognizing the bank’s ongoing support of both the organization and the broader community. The celebration also included a special moment for Steve Costello, the bank’s recently retired president, who received a Lifetime Achievement Award honoring his years of dedication to CABI.
Community support took center stage as CABI distributed donations to several local organizations, including the Canton Fire Department, Canton Helpline Food Pantry, St. Vincent de Paul Society and the Canton Choral Society.
In addition, the organization introduced Nick Fitzgerald as its newly elected president. Fitzgerald, who has longstanding ties to Canton, is expected to bring strong leadership and a renewed vision to CABI. Outgoing President Ty Conder was recognized with heartfelt thanks for his two-and-a-half years of dedicated leadership and steady guidance.
The evening closed on a high note, with a moving performance by the Canton Choral Society. For more information about CABI, go to cantonbusiness.org or email cabi@cantonbusiness.org.
