Area residents now have a chance to explore this fascinating place as the society hosts its annual Holiday Open Houses on Sunday, December 7 and 14, from 1-4 p.m., with a pop-up open house scheduled for Thursday evening, December 18, from 6-9 p.m.
Bring your checkbooks, cash and/or credit cards, as you will want to snap up Canton-themed artwork, books, t-shirts, and more for sale. Complimentary refreshments will be served.
Established in 1898, the Canton Historical Society is a nonprofit museum and educational institution dedicated to preserving Canton’s history and place. Its collections begin with artifacts from the late 1600s through today and include a strong understanding of industry, military conflicts and daily life in Canton.
