Draper Seaman, Molly
By Canton CitizenMollie Draper Seaman, a lifelong resident of Canton, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was 89 years old.
Mollie was a dedicated volunteer for FISH of Canton and the Massachusetts Hospital School. She was also a licensed electrician and worked side by side with her husband, Donald G. Seaman Sr., owner of Seaman Electric in Canton.
She was the devoted wife of the late Donald G. Seaman Sr. and the loving mother of Dawn S. Harkins and her husband, Kerry, of Franklin; Donald G. Seaman Jr. and his wife, Carol, of Attleboro; Mollie D. Jones and her husband, Michael, of Georgia; David Seaman and his wife, Tammy, of Lanesboro; A. Daniel Seaman and his wife, Laura, of Indiana; Douglas J. Seaman of Stoughton; D. Calvin Seaman and his wife, Rosana, of Sharon; and Dwight D. Seaman and his wife, Christine (Tina), of Canton.
She was the beloved sister of Miriam (Muffy) Conlon of Vermont, Debra Sankey of Canada, and the late Peter Nolen of Canton. Mollie was the proud grandmother of 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, November 6 (today) from 4-7 p.m. at the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street in Canton. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
A funeral service will be held Friday morning at 10 a.m. at First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church, 1508 Washington Street, Canton, following a 9 a.m. gathering at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Canton Corner Cemetery.
