Town announces police chief survey

As the search begins for a new permanent police chief, the town of Canton is asking residents for their input through a new online survey.

The short survey, consisting of six questions, asks about the leadership qualities that residents would want to see in the next chief and about the most important issues facing the community. Other topics covered include community engagement and preferred policing strategies.

To access the survey, visit the town website, scan the QR code on the advertisement on page 4, or visit www.surveymonkey.com/r/TH6Q8SF. There are also hard copies of the survey available at the Executive Office and Town Clerk’s office at Town Hall, the Canton Public Library, and the Canton Senior Center.
