Town announces lineup for summer concert series

The town of Canton invites residents and visitors to attend its annual Summer Concert Series, held Wednesday evenings throughout July and into mid-August.

The series will begin on Wednesday, July 2, and continue weekly through August 13. All performances are scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. on the lawn of the Rodman Center, located at 960 Washington Street.

The Summer Concert Series has become a familiar fixture in Canton’s seasonal calendar, offering an opportunity for families, neighbors and friends to gather in a relaxed outdoor setting and enjoy live music from both local and regional performers.

Admission is free, and complimentary hot dogs and hamburgers will be available while supplies last. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets.

The full performance schedule is as follows: American Legion Band (7/2), Petty Larceny – Tom Petty Tribute (7/9), Jumpin’ Juba (7/16), Back in Time (7/23), Cactus Gang (7/30), Little Lies – Fleetwood Mac Tribute (8/6), and Retro Rockets (8/13).

The town of Canton would like to recognize the Parks & Recreation Department, the Department of Public Works, and the concert volunteers who help make this series possible.

For additional information, please contact the Canton Parks & Recreation Department at 781-821-5030.

“Our Summer Concert Series has become a beloved tradition in Canton,” said Parks & Rec. Director Tyler Radicioni. “This is a family-friendly event that allows people to get outside, enjoy live music and connect with fellow community members. We hope to see residents of all ages this summer on the Rodman lawn.”
