Class of 2025 leaves their mark at Blue Hills
By Canton CitizenSuperintendent-Director Jill Rossetti and Principal Geoffrey Zini are proud to announce the graduation of 215 students in the Class of 2025 at Blue Hills Regional Technical School in Canton.
The graduation ceremony took place on Tuesday evening, June 3, on the school’s athletic field.

The 215 graduates represented 17 career technical programs, including 20 students in Health Assisting; 18 in Culinary Arts; 14 each in Construction Technology, Early Education & Care, Electrical Technology, and Graphic Communications; 13 each in Automotive Technology and Electronics; 12 each in Cosmetology and HVAC/R; 11 each in Computer Information Systems, Criminal Justice, Drafting/CAD; and Engineering Technology; 10 in Design & Visual Communications; nine in Metal Fabrication & Joining Technologies; and five in Automotive Collision Repair & Refinishing.
Blue Hills draws students from Canton as well as the surrounding communities of Avon, Braintree, Dedham, Holbrook, Milton, Norwood, Randolph and Westwood.
Last week’s ceremony began with a processional led by District School Committee members Kevin Connolly, Eric Erskine, Karen Graves, Taryn Mohan, Sheila Vazquez and Tom Polito. They were joined by Rossetti, Zini, and the class officers.
“We are so incredibly proud of the graduates in the Class of 2025,” Zini said. “They have been an amazing part of the Blue Hills community, and we can’t wait to see what is next for them.”
Class President Kabirah Azeez, who participated in the Criminal Justice program, expressed gratitude to Blue Hills for providing her with the real-world experience and knowledge that she needs to achieve success in her career.
“Blue Hills graced me with a skillset that will allow me to succeed in this world as a responsible leader,” Azeez said. “We excel, we are smart, and we are beyond capable.”

In her speech to her fellow graduates, valedictorian and class treasurer Mia Castillo, who participated in the Design & Visual Communications program, encouraged her peers to take on difficult challenges and reach new heights. “Step out of your comfort zone and push past the limits,” said Castillo.
Rossetti credited the Class of 2025 for overcoming difficulties, becoming specialists in their fields, and leaving a legacy of leadership, excellence and inclusion at Blue Hills Regional Technical School.
“You’ve adapted, persevered and thrived,” said Rossetti. “You haven’t just learned a trade. You’ve mastered a craft. You’ve found your voice. You’ve led your peers. You’ve made this school stronger, more vibrant, and more inclusive.”
Among the graduates awarded diplomas from Blue Hills this year were 19 residents of Canton: Juliette K. Alonso, Tia M. Bain, Sabrina C. Bell, Tristan J. M. Camarra, Joseph J. Canto, Vincenzo R. Donato, Nolan A. Durand, Natalie E. Finch, Jayden C. Hinds, Ara G. Kaladjian, Gregory D. Kaladjian, Brayden M. Mahoney, Zoe S. Marvin, Jack A. McCloud, Cameron M. Murray, Anabelle L. Porter, Craig Schwab, Polixeni C. Stamatos, and Clayton D. Wagner.
