Felton, Stanley P.
By Canton CitizenStanley Patrick Felton, of Canton, died peacefully on April 23, 2025. Stan was 88 years old.
He was a self-employed master plumber, owning D&F Plumbing and Heating in Jamaica Plain for 30 years. Stan was also an avid fisherman.
He was the devoted husband of Alice M. Felton (Dufresne) and the loving prior husband of the late Carol A. Felton (Ferrara). Stan was the proud father of Patrick S. Felton and his wife, Julie, of Norton and Jennifer Felton Peterson. He was the caring stepfather of Deanna L. Devaney and James J. Devaney and his wife, Sophia, of Roslindale. Stan was the very proud grandfather of Kaley, Emma and Riley Felton, Isabella and Jaxon Devaney, and Jason Petersen.
Stan has one surviving sibling, Marilyn Wells of FL and NH. He was the oldest of three sons of Stanley Felton of England and Catherine (Winnie) Gildea Felton of Boston. Stan suffered from Lewy body dementia for the past several years. Prior to his illness, he was known for his great sense of humor.
Visiting hours in the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street, on Saturday, May 3, from 2-4 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mass Audubon’s Museum of American Bird Art Education Center & Wildlife Sanctuary, 963 Washington St., Canton, MA 02021.
