Leslie Ann Kramer, born on June 6, 1946, in Boston, passed away on April 13, 2024, in Canton at the age of 77.

She was the beloved wife of Richard Kramer, cherished mother of Melissa and her husband, Bill, and son Ross Kramer and his wife, Alla. Loving grandmother of Sam Mayer and Sabrina Mayer. Leslie was also survived by her sister-in-law Rosalyn Miller, niece, nephew, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Brittain and Evelyn Brittain.

Leslie’s journey began in the Almont Apartments of Mattapan before her family moved to Milton, where she attended elementary, junior high, and high school, graduating in 1964. She pursued her passion for English and obtained her degree from the University of Massachusetts in 1968. Leslie’s career path led her to become an English teacher at the Kennedy School in Randolph. She also became a certified ESL instructor and taught night classes at Brockton High, impacting many lives of new citizens to this country.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Leslie was dedicated to community service, actively involved with ORT America and a lifetime member of Hadassah, advocating for global education and unity. She found joy in her role as a grandmother and was a pillar of support and love for her family.

Leslie was an avid reader, entrepreneur, jeweler, traveler, and mahjong player. She was a longtime member at Temple Beth Abraham, now B’nai Tikvah, in Canton. Her involvement in Sisterhood and various boards epitomized her commitment to her community and beyond.
