Canton’s Team Papa Jay seeks support

By

Canton resident Anita Wassersug and her friend Elmo invite you to join them on Sunday, May 19, for the 38th annual Optimism Walk hosted by the Massachusetts Chapter of the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA).

The walk, which raises much-needed funds for Parkinson’s research, will take place from 12-2 p.m. at Bowditch Field, 475 Union Ave. in Framingham. This year, Team Papa Jay is dedicating its walk to its namesake, Jay Wassersug (“Papa Jay”), who passed away on his birthday, December 5, 2021, and to the family and friends we have lost, and to those who are living with this dreadful disease daily.

If you are unable to attend, donations are still greatly appreciated. Checks payable to APDA – Team Papa Jay may be sent directly to: APDA – MA Chapter, 85 East Concord St., Ground Floor, Boston, MA 02118.

Donations to Team Papa Jay may also be made online by clicking here.
