Conrad “Vic” Swartz, 81, of Canton, died Wednesday, March 23, 2024, at his residence after lengthy illness.

Born in Boston, he was son of the late David and Sarah Swartz. A Canton resident for most of his life, he graduated from Canton High School with the Class of 1960.

A retired electrician and member of IBEW Local 103 in Boston, Mr. Swartz was a longtime employee at the Massachusetts Hospital School in Canton as well for the town of Canton.

Vic’s passion was music. An accomplished drummer, he played with his band at weddings, events and in local establishments.

Mr. Swartz was predeceased by his dear wife, Beatrice “BettyAnn” (Lyons) Swartz, in 2022.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews and his lifelong dear friends, the Sheehan family of Canton.

A graveside committal service was held Wednesday morning in Knollwood Memorial Park. Arrangements by the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street, www.roache-pushard.com.
