Green, Jason D.

Jason Donald Green, 92, late of Canton, formerly of Hyde Park and Dorchester, entered into rest on August 28, 2023.

Beloved husband of the late Adele (Mathews) Green for 55 years. Devoted father of Cheryl and Jonathan Pozner of Canton, Robin and Robert Gorham of Canton, and Michael and Jennifer Green of Needham. Loving grandfather of Matthew and Melissa Pozner, Daniel Pozner and Kim Baker, Jamie Pozner and Darius Monteiro, Bryan and Monica Gorham, Steven Gorham and Jennifer Aversano, Jacob Green, and Rachel Green. Great-grandfather of Elliot and Benjamin Pozner.

Born in Boston in 1931, he was the cherished last surviving sibling among seven brothers and sisters. Whether in his career as a steamfitter or his time proudly serving in the U.S. Coast Guard during the Korean War, his work ethic and tenacity were an inspiration to those who knew him. He enjoyed gardening, coin collecting, and monthly casino trips. He was a lifelong Boston sports fan; however, his biggest passion was his family.
