Planned dog park should stay at Revere site

By

Dear Editor:

The Revere Dog Park is apparently being relocated. Why? The dog park should be completed at the Paul Revere Heritage Site as originally planned. What is the critical reason requiring relocation? If it is due to wetland issues, why not fix the problem or relocate it to a different location in the park? Money should not be released if the project is not completed.

Dog owners have been waiting years. The Rte. 138 location is a horrible idea with all of the traffic. The Revere Heritage Site is environmentally sound and centrally located, enabling people to walk there with their dogs from their homes.

The Select Board serves at our pleasure and to serve our needs. Please address the concerns of this community as a whole. I ask the Select Board to reconsider.
