Marino, Adele E.

Adele E. Marino (O’Flaherty) of Canton passed away June 30 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Boston, she was raised in South Boston, previously lived in Dorchester, and has lived in Canton since 1962. She and her family enjoyed spending their summers at Lake Shore Park in Gilford, NH.

Adele worked as a nurse at the Hellenic Nursing Home in Canton for several years before retiring. She enjoyed playing cribbage and bingo, spending time at the Canton Senior Center, and most especially spending time with her family at Lake Shore Park.

Beloved wife of Walter J. Marino. Mother of Kevin J. Marino and his wife, Susan, of Avon, Lauren J. Madden and her husband, Timothy, of Tyngsboro, Susan A. Madden and her husband, Thomas, of Salem, NH, and Steven W. Marino and his wife, Theresa, of Bellingham. Also survived by seven grandchildren, Kevin, Jennifer, Nicole, Michelle, Samantha, Matthew and Shannon, and 11 great-grandchildren, Oliver, Emilia, Cameron, William, Owen, Duke, Kevin, Ryan, Connor, and Patrick.

Funeral service at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street, Friday at 11 a.m. Visiting hours Thursday (today) from 4-7 p.m. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
