Visit from Gov. Healey

Staff and visitors at the Canton Senior Center were treated to a nice surprise last week when Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey and Lt. Governor Kim Driscoll stopped in for a visit. The governor and lieutenant governor each gave remarks and spent time visiting with residents. On hand for the special occasion were Canton’s new state senator, Paul Feeney; Select Board Chair John Connolly and Vice Chair Lisa Lopez; Canton Town Administrator Charles Doody; members of the COA Advisory Board; and several town department heads.  Photo courtesy of Joshua Qualls/Governor’s Press Office
