Robert E. Wadman, 90, of Canton and South Easton, died February 20, 2023.

Bob was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served the town of Canton as a police officer for many years until his retirement. In addition to being a retired police officer, Bob enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, camping at Rusnik Campground in Salisbury, and watching his grandchildren’s sporting events. He was a member of the Canton Town Club, the American Legion, and the Elks in Norwood.

Son of the late Alfred and Mary Wadman. Loving husband of the late Linda A. (Hart) Trayers. Father of Mary Jackson and her husband, Alan, of Stoughton. Stepfather to Meg Pina and her husband, Michael, of Raymond, NH, along with Erin B. Sroczinski and her husband, Brett, of Raynham. Brother of Ralph of North Attleboro, William of OR, Arthur of FL, Edward of Carver, David of Whitman, and the late Norma McGrath. Proud grandfather of Shannon and Michael Pina, Brooke and Riley Sroczinski, and great-grandfather of Shaye Pina. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Bob’s pride and joy was his German Shepherd, Gunnar.

Visiting hours in the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street, Sunday, February 26, from 2-5 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob’s memory to the Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Massachusetts at apcsm.org.
