Dam at Dawn

Canton resident Thomas McCaffery took home the coveted Judges’ Choice prize in this year’s Blue Hills Photo Contest for the above photo titled “Dam at Dawn #1.” McCaffery was one of four prize winners announced at last month’s Blue Hills Bash hosted by the nonprofit Friends of the Blue Hills.
Other prize winners included Mary Galli of Quincy, who won the popular vote (“Buck Hill Morning”), Barry Fleischer of Hyde Park, who won the ‘Who Visits the Blue Hills’ category (“Family Fun”); and Lee Toma of Milton, who won the ‘Who Lives in the Blue Hills’ category (“Spotted”). Prizes included gift certificates to Page + Waterman Gallery and Framing and Patagonia attire.
