Members of the Canton Fire and Police departments gathered with local and state officials at CFD headquarters on Sunday in remembrance of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Held annually on the anniversary of 9/11 and open to the community, the event serves as a tribute to the bravery of New York’s first responders and as a solemn reminder of the nearly 3,000 lives lost on that day, including Canton native and CHS graduate Michael Uliano, who perished in the North Tower along with 657 of his coworkers at Cantor Fitzgerald.
