Bill Galvin is the best choice for our town

By

Dear Editor:

I am a lifelong Canton resident and for over half of my life I have been an educator in the town. I have taught many of the people and/or their kids reading this letter and have loved every minute of it.

Without question, the support of the town has contributed to the success and joy I have experienced in the classroom. That support comes in many forms … from the kids, parents, administration and elected officials. Everyone plays a big part in making our school system excel with our kids being the biggest benefactors.

The excellence of our schools starts from the support of our elected officials, and no one has worked harder for the people of their districts than Bill Galvin. Take a look around Canton and its neighboring towns. Massive investments in Canton High School, the Galvin Middle School, and Stoughton High School are a few of the many examples of the focus and drive Bill has put forth towards ensuring that the towns he represents get the resources to continue to invest in their best resources — our kids.

Bill has worked tirelessly to secure funds for everything from libraries to improved infrastructure to the re-build of the town skating rink.

Bill and his family have a long history in Canton. I joke with Bill that he is a “Bulldog for life.” The reality is that he is a bulldog when it comes to working for his constituency. He will not be out worked. He understands what is important to the people he represents. He is laser focused on delivering results that affect the lives of all the communities he represents. He is grounded in reality. He knows the value of the tax dollars that he is responsible for spending and won’t throw your money away on an empty promise.

I am voting for Bill and hope you will as well. Simply put, Bill is the best choice for our town.

Sincerely,

Lori Mooney
