FBH announces ‘Dinner in the Blue Hills’ raffle

By

The Friends of the Blue Hills is pleased to announce the return of its “Dinner in the Blue Hills” raffle.

This year, the local nonprofit has partnered with the Common Market Restaurant Group in West Quincy to raffle off a meal of a lifetime — dinner for one lucky winner and five guests atop the Blue Hills Weather Observatory, located at the summit of Great Blue Hill.

Guests will enjoy a mouth-watering meal consisting of an appetizer, an entrée, and a dessert while taking in incredible views of the woods, the hills, the city of Boston, and the Atlantic Ocean.

The date of the dinner will be determined by the raffle winner, the caterer, and the Friends of the Blue Hills. Due to the construction at the observatory, and to take advantage of the best weather conditions, the dinner should be scheduled after April 1, 2023 and must take place before October 31, 2023. The prize is non-transferable.

Raffle tickets are $15 each or three for $35 and are on sale now through October 20 at friendsofthebluehills.org/raffle2022. The winner will be announced at the Friends of the Blue Hills’ annual celebration on October 20, although ticket holders do not need to be present to win. For more information about the annual celebration, go to friendsofthebluehills.org.
