Born and raised in Boston, she attended Boston Public Schools and moved to Canton in 1995. She worked for Westinghouse in Hyde Park and Bradlees in Roslindale for many years. In her free time she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Beloved wife of the late Stephen L. Mother of Jayne Dudley and her husband, Paul, of Canton and Stephen L. Ferris, Jr. and his wife, Joanne, of Brewster. Grandmother of Michelle Hunt, Erika Dudley, Stephen Ferris and Heather Ferris. Great-grandmother of Grace and Everett Hunt. Sister of Marion Averbuch of Falmouth and the late Antoinette Pemberton and Theresa Wheeler.
A funeral Mass will be held Thursday (today) at 10:30 a.m. in St. Oscar Romero Parish in Canton. Burial Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham. Donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
